The title of the honorable citizen of the city of Leskovac, in other words freeman is awarded by the City Assembly of Leskovac.

The proclamation of a person as an honorable citizen of the city of Leskovac is decided upon by the City Assembly at the formal meeting. The person who is awarded is given the title called the Charter of an honorable citizen.

Leskovac October Reward- The medal as a special social recognition is awarded to companies, institutions, organizations, local communities and individuals each year on October 11, when the Day of Liberation of Leskovac is celebrated, awards are given for lifetime achievement, individual and shared achievements in the field of economy and social activities.

This prize is solemnly awarded by the Chairman of the City Assembly. They are given to companies, institutions and local communities on the occasion of important historical dates, jubilees, the completion of the actions of particular interest for municipality, for their contribution to humanitarian actions. They are awarded in a solemn manner in the presence of all laureate and guests of the Assembly of the City of Leskovac.
